A device is installed outside the pipe (which is made of plastic and relatively thin) to achieve the following function: no alarm or indication is given when liquid flows through the pipe, but an alarm is triggered or an indication is shown when there is no liquid inside the pipe. What kind of device should be used?
This can be achieved through a remote online monitoring system. Similar to a heat network online monitoring system.

Since the pipes are thin and lightweight, there is a noticeable change in weight as the medium flows through them; pressure sensors could be considered in such cases. If the temperature of the medium is high and there are significant temperature changes as it flows, infrared sensors could be an option, and so on
By specifying a direction, you lose many possible simple and efficient solutions; a flow switch can be easily implemented to function normally when there is flow, and to trigger an alarm when there is no flow. But it cannot be implemented outside the transparent tube; the liquid must flow through the switch
