The new classification of the toxicity hazards of substances contained in pressure vessels assigns hydrochloric acid to the highly hazardous category; as a result, flanges weighing over 20 kilograms are required. Can’t hydrochloric acid then be stored in plastic tanks and pipes? Are all of them lined with steel? Under whose master’s guidance!
I’ve learned about it; I really hadn’t paid attention to this before. But with such high pressure, plastic is indeed unsafe.
According to the new standards, plastic must indeed be phased out.
Hello, can plastic flanges be used for 16 kilograms? Is that standard applicable? So far, I’ve only found plastic flanges for 1.0 kilogram
Isn’t it only fluids of Category A1 that require more than 20 kilograms? Highly toxic substances are classified as Category A1
