Condensate tank pressure

After heat exchange in steam exchangers of different grades, the condensate flows into the condensate tank. What is the pressure in this tank – is it the pressure of the steam? For example, is the pressure of the condensate from low-pressure steam at 0.46 still 0.46? I hope an expert can give some advice. Thank you!
What I see is not that, but rather the saturated pressure corresponding to the condensate temperature (or slightly higher).
It will definitely go down, but the pressure in the tank should still be designed based on the maximum steam pressure
Indeed, the designed drainage temperature is the condensate temperature at the steam pressure in use, but this is not the case in reality.
There’s no need to worry about this; some of the temperature and pressure are absorbed during heat exchange. But if there are issues with the operation or the heat exchange process isn’t proper, it’s possible that the steam passes through without turning into liquid. This is definitely taken into account during the design phase
