Why do people still want to work in design firms with such low basic salaries?
Compared to other industries, design firms are of course not as bad as those with 996 work hours, but their salaries are still higher than those of workers in ordinary factories. As long as it’s not on the front line, it’s generally possible to get one square meter per month. It’s been on a downward trend in recent years. But it’s still higher than that of ordinary workers, and there’s no need to work night shifts. The downside is limited career prospects, and some departments also have high pressure.
