What’s the problem? The insulation at the bends of small pipes is sometimes at a right angle; it’s not appropriate to assume that it’s unsuitable just because of the right angle as seen from the surface. The selection of the three-way fitting or its design is unreasonable. The bottom image really cannot be taken over in this way.
Just guessing – please correct me if I’m wrong: 1. How many pipe supports should be added at the π bend? 2. Is the direction in which the tee leads incorrect? 3. Wasn’t a low point set to drain it completely? (I can’t see the direction ahead; I don’t know if it’s a low point.) Or is there no support? 4. It’s not good to have a U-shaped layout in this area. 5. The steam branch pipes should lead out from above
This is a PPT on common problems with steam pipelines found online; it only lists the issues that occur without explaining the circumstances, so I would like experts to analyze it
5 If it’s a steam branch pipe, then this is indeed incorrect; but I’m not sure whether it’s a drainage point. For 1 and 3, the diagram shows the locations of the elbows. Although you’ve pointed out issues in the diagram as well, they probably aren’t the answers intended to be conveyed by those markings.
May I ask where exactly this unreasonable aspect regarding the three-way connection lies?
It would be more reasonable not to need to add further reducing tees after the tee connection, don’t you think?
I think it’s fine whether to include the larger and smaller pipes or not; the branch lines don’t require such thick tubes. Including them increases costs, so it’s better to omit them
