May I ask if 4 methanol tanks with a capacity of 10 cubic meters each can still be placed within one fire dike? If that’s possible, does the volume of the fire dike just need to be sufficient to accommodate the volume of the largest tank?
The number of individual tanks within a tank cluster with a volume of less than 1,000 cubic meters is not limited, but there is a requirement regarding the total volume.
I remember there being a document stating that each tank requires its own dike ?
This is a dike; of course it’s not really used these days, as per the regulations for petrochemical industries
