Can't float level gauges be used in Class A and B liquid storage tanks?

The use of float level gauges in Class A and B liquid storage tanks can easily generate static electricity and cause explosions. The safety supervision inspection said that the use of float level gauges in on-site liquid level gauges for Class A and B liquid storage tanks is prohibited. Is there any basis for this statement? From what specification?
For flammable and explosive media, floats are generally not used, and the simplest magnetic flap is used, but I have not seen any requirements in the specification.
The float you are talking about is probably the most primitive kind. In fact, there are also magnetic float level gauges, which are also explosion-proof and can be used without any problem. The one you mentioned is probably open, so it definitely won't work.
The current engineering design is to eliminate unorganized exhaust gas emissions. If you are exposed, it is equivalent to an emission outlet and is not allowed. The picture is a screenshot of national standard 50483.
Float level gauges are also used a lot, but you still have to think twice when choosing a level gauge for storage tanks with major hazards.
