Diesel hydrogenation is an important petroleum processing technique in the chemical industry; it involves adding hydrogen atoms to diesel molecules under the action of catalysts, thereby removing impurities such as sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen and improving the quality of diesel. The process flow mainly consists of three parts: raw material pretreatment, hydrogenation reaction, and product separation. The feed diesel is mixed with hydrogen and fed into a fixed-bed reactor, where reactions such as hydrodesulfurization (HDS) and hydrodenitration (HDN) occur on the catalyst bed, reducing the sulfur content from several thousand ppm to below 10 ppm. After high-pressure and low-pressure separation, the reaction products enter a distillation tower to yield products such as refined diesel and naphtha. This technology is crucial for producing clean fuels and meeting environmental regulations.
