In the electrical power usage conditions table, under the control methods, is it necessary to include the motor current signal in the DCS interface for monitoring and alarm purposes? For example, the current of the motors for positive-displacement pumps such as metering pumps and screw pumps, as well as the current of the mixing motor, etc.
This depends on the actual requirements of the production process on site; after all, investment costs need to be taken into account. If money isn’t a concern, then one can go ahead and do as they please :)
If its value affects the process or the product, it must be introduced. Otherwise, there is no need to introduce it.
