What are the current processes used for processing used engine oil? Let me mention one first: atmospheric and vacuum distillation.
(1) Atmospheric and reduced-pressure distillation, purification of various solvents (BERC process by the U.S. Department of Energy, Delta, Bulzo, etc.)； (2) Atmospheric and vacuum distillation, solvent treatment, hydrorefining (US, Italian SP process) ； (3) Flash evaporation, heat treatment, ultra-fine filtration, hydrogenation, vacuum distillation (French REG process) ； (4) Chemical de-metalization, heat treatment, clay bed filtration, hydroprocessing (Phillips Company’s PROP process in the United States) ； (5) Thin-film evaporator high-vacuum distillation hydrogenation refining (USA, Dutch KT I process) ； (6) Vacuum flash evaporation, sodium metal polymerization, thin-film evaporator, high-vacuum distillation (Swiss Recyclon process)
