For the loading and unloading of chemical materials, environmental regulations require closed-system handling. It means using a dip pipe (balanced type) for loading and unloading; do not use hoses, as they are prone to leakage. For flexible hoses, those equipped with both a liquid phase tube and a gas phase tube should be used. The gas phase cannot be released directly; it is sent to storage tanks, flares, or waste gas treatment units.
