As shown in the diagram, why are the low pressure in the lubricating oil main pipe and the low pressure in the turbine control oil considered a logical AND condition – i.e., an alarm is triggered only when both pressures are low? Shouldn’t an alarm be issued first at 0.65 MPa?
AN means general alarm.
The backup oil pump will start automatically at 0.65, and there is an alarm indication on the diagram for the automatic start of the backup pump; therefore, it is acceptable that the first AND gate triggers an alarm at 0.15. But it seems a bit redundant, you know.
The automatic start function is not set for controlling oil pressure; it is planned to add this feature
