As the title suggests, what’s going on with the expansion joint at the Rums PDH? What is the catalytic addition-reduction mechanism?
There are many expansion joints in the entire reaction system, all of which need to be continuously purged with hydrocarbons, but I don’t know where the purging takes place, as the plant is still under construction
Which factory are you from? I asked which part of the expansion joint needs to be continuously purged during the heating process, in order to prevent coking

The reactor inlet is purged with hydrocarbons, while the outlet is purged with low-pressure steam to prevent coking in dead zones
Prevent coking and large temperature changes, which could cause high stresses in the pipes
