What is the difference between a pump’s inlet filter and an outlet filter? It can be said that the inlet is designed to protect the pump, while the outlet is designed to meet process requirements?

The inlet is for the coarse filtration of mechanical impurities, while the outlet is generally used in the circulation system for fine filtration, requiring the pressure head provided by a pump.

Located at the pump outlet, it is likely necessary to install a bypass or two filters in parallel. The fine filtration units in the circulating water system, the resin traps in the desalination water system, and the bag filters are all installed in the positive pressure section.
Two small pumps are connected in parallel, with a filter at each outlet.
