By how much is the temperature lower in buried storage tanks compared to above-ground ones? Is it still necessary to use facility sprayers for cooling?
Sand can be used for insulation, and water can be sprayed to reduce the temperature. A pool is placed next to the underground tank; the water sprayed is cooled by passing through the sand before entering the pool, after which it is pumped away
