According to TSG 07-2019 issued last May, project permits for GC3 level should no longer exist. Upon seeking advice on this matter, most people, based on the \"Catalogue of Permits for Special Equipment Manufacturing Units,\" believed that the current GC2 level covers what used to be the GC3 level; I also held this view before. However, I have recently learned about the classification of industrial pipelines as outlined in GB/T 20801.1-2020. According to this standard, not only is the GC3 level retained, but it is also distinguished from GC1 and GC2 levels. So, what qualifications are required to design and install industrial pipelines at the GC3 level? A GC2 qualification is required to design and install GC3 industrial pipelines. There has never been a separate GC3 license for design and installation; it has always been covered by GC2. Was your company previously licensed at GC3 level?
