The size of the area As at the split point of the heat exchanger tube sheet is determined according to the calculation formula on page 77 of 151. As for how to calculate the number of heat tubes, what calculation values is the As area affected by? Taking the figure below as an example, the diameter of the heat exchange tubes is 19, the center-to-center distance between the tubes is 25, and the distance at the split point is 40. How is AS calculated? What calculation data is affected by the As area? Thank you

I’ve already seen this, but when it comes to specific cases, I’m a bit unsure how to apply the principles in practice. For example, regarding the tube sheet mentioned above, which calculation values are affected by the Ad area? I could only find the ratio of the equivalent diameter to the actual diameter in the piping area.
