Are there any books and materials on the treatment of exhaust gases and tail gases?

I am a designer in the field of process engineering. In the projects I’ve been working on recently, I often have to deal with various types of waste gases, exhaust fumes, and odorous substances. Here, this task is currently handled mainly by the HVAC team; however, their expertise has traditionally focused on heating and ventilation, so they aren’t very skilled when it comes to waste gas treatment. When answering questions from environmental impact assessments or experts, it is often necessary for us to act as intermediaries in conveying messages. Personally, I think it would be better if the person in charge of the manufacturing process handled this task. I’m not sure how other organizations divide their responsibilities in this regard; are there any books or materials that provide a comprehensive overview of this topic?
What needs to be done is that waste gas collection is closely related to ventilation; it’s better to confirm the technical approach for waste gas treatment. Depending on the characteristics of waste gases in different industries, there are generally already mature technologies available.
