Dear Haihao friends! Our company specializes in colored iron oxide pigments, and we are currently looking to improve our manufacturing processes and upgrade our equipment. There is one issue that is bothering me, and I would appreciate it if everyone could help me figure it out! The basic structure of our oxidation tank is as follows: it is an open-top circular tank with a diameter of 5.5 meters. Steam distributors and air distributors are installed at the bottom of the tank, and balance plates are placed above these two distributors; the iron sheets used as raw materials are then placed on these balance plates. Due to the excessive steam loss from the open tank, we plan to seal the top of the tank with concrete, leaving only a hole with a diameter of two meters, which will be covered. So, when we pour the metal sheets into the tank, it can only be done through this hole with a diameter of two meters; similarly, when cleaning the tank and removing the waste metal scraps, it is also necessary to use this small opening. Previously, we used crane grabs to add iron sheets and remove iron scrap; the crane cab was located far away from the tank. After the tank was modified, we were concerned that lifting the grab with the crane might damage the top of the tank. Additionally, since the inner wall of the tank was intended to be lined with fiberglass, we were worried that the grab might damage that fiberglass as well. I would like to ask all of you here: is there any suitable equipment or other solution that can prevent damage to the tanks when dropping metal sheets and removing scrap metal debris?
