I would like to ask everyone: Does the dehydroalkylation (alkyl transfer) process fall under the category of alkylation processes?
I really don’t understand the anti-hydrogenation process you mentioned. Hydrocarbons are hydrocarbon compounds; in simple terms, dehydrocarbonylation is a process of breaking down or modifying hydrocarbons, and it seems to have no direct connection with alkylation. In organic chemistry, alkylation is an organic reaction that involves the formation of new alkyl groups or the introduction of alkyl groups, and petrochemical processes feature specialized alkylation units. I’m not sure what specific organic reaction you are referring to Can it be expressed using specific reaction processes or equations?
