I would like to ask everyone: Our company has a filling machine used for filling iron barrels. The environmental protection agency now requires us to install absorption devices. After consulting several manufacturers, they asked for data on the gases involved. Can the gases escaping from the filling ports of the barrels be considered to be in a saturated state?
It’s definitely not saturated; it can be calculated as if it were saturated, with saturation representing the extreme condition that requires environmental management

Use a suction hood? So the concentration is naturally very low; although the air flow volume is high, the total amount of emissions remains small. How much exhaust gas can a metal tank remove? Since there’s an exhaust pipe, why not connect that exhaust pipe directly to the storage tank? That way, there’s no need for an additional device. The concentration in new barrels is definitely lower; I’m not sure if there’s any standard for estimating it. If old barrels are reused without being cleaned properly, then using saturated steam is definitely the right approach.
