Is breath volume not required when purchasing a breathing valve?

The process specifications usually specify the breathing volume as well as the pressures for exhalation and inhalation. However, according to the storage and transportation guidelines, only the capacity of the storage tank and the amount of liquid are indicated, along with the number and diameter of the breather valves required. I also checked the product information provided by the breather valve manufacturers, and there, too, only the diameter, material, and set pressure are listed – no information on the breathing volume. I would like to ask the manufacturers based on what criteria they choose the breather valves; after all, a breather valve should have a certain breathing volume that meets the requirements specified in the process. Could someone please explain this?
