In catalytic dry gas hydrogen production units, the acidic water pipelines that are separated after medium-pressure conversion often develop sand holes and their wall thickness decreases; is this due to erosion or corrosion?
Both erosion and corrosion occur; the difference lies in which one has a greater impact.
