Dear sea friends: In my opinion, the overflow port of the deaerator functions as a safeguard for the equipment – when the operation of the equipment becomes unstable, which leads to an increase in liquid level, the overflow valve opens automatically at the point of \"high liquid level\" to prevent damage to the equipment. The configuration of the overflow port can be done in either atmospheric or pressure-type arrangements: First, for atmospheric-type overflow ports, since the pressure is low, a \"water seal device\" is typically used to separate the atmosphere from the equipment through the pressure of a liquid column, allowing for automatic overflow when necessary. II. Pressure-type overflow ports are typically equipped with “overflow valves” due to the high pressure, and their operation is controlled via a level interlock. If an overflow port is not installed, the increase in liquid level will lead to a rise in pressure, which has negative effects on both safety and deoxygenation performance.
