By-products include methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, methyl formate, methanol, ethanol, and water. The iron containers are severely rusted and corroded; the alcohol meter reads 63, with a density of 0.91. The water is white in color. This should not affect the color or the burning properties. A carbon steel lining for these materials will do, solving the problem once and for all.
The storage tank is severely corroded; is a solution needed? Can’t you use an anti-corrosion coating for the storage tank?
