Yan’an Petroleum and Topsoe have jointly established a company; the project for producing 600 tons of a new type of catalyst is set to begin soon. On July 28, it was reported on the official website of Shaanxi Yan’an Petroleum Group that \"Shaanxi Yan’an Topsoe Catalysis Technology Co., Ltd.\", founded through a joint venture between Yan’an Petroleum Group and the Danish company Topsoe, has successfully completed the registration process with the Shaanxi Provincial Market Regulation Bureau and obtained its business license. The establishment of this joint venture will help leverage the strengths of both parties and accelerate the implementation of their strategic cooperation. The company’s first-phase project to produce 600 tons of new catalysts per year has recently commenced construction at the Fuping Technology Industrial Park, with operations scheduled to start in early 2022. Taking this as an opportunity, both parties will further expand the areas of cooperation in advanced catalyst technologies and products, pursuing cooperation at a deeper level, across a wider range of fields, and to a higher standard. It is understood that the Danish company Topso was founded in 1940; it is a world-renowned company in the field of chemical catalysis technology and a leading international enterprise in this sector. Shaanxi Yanchang Topsoo Catalysis Technology Co., Ltd. was established on July 22, 2021. Its registered address is Fu’an Second Road, Zhuangli Town, Fuping County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, and its legal representative is Wang Kun. The business scope includes general activities: manufacturing of special chemical products (excluding hazardous chemicals) ； Sales of new catalytic materials and additives ； Sales of specialty chemical products (excluding hazardous chemicals) ； Technical services, technical development, technical consulting, technical exchanges, technology transfer, and technology promotion (business activities may be carried out independently in accordance with the law, subject to the approval required for projects that are subject to legal regulations; a business license is required for such activities).
