Do you mean that once the grounding clip of the tank truck is disconnected, the pump can’t start? If that’s the case, there are now static grounding clamps available that come with a interlock signal; this signal is usually sent to the DCS, and then you can use this signal to create an interlock for starting the pump. I’m not an expert in instrumentation, so I might not explain things very clearly. My understanding is as follows. :lol
