May I ask how much steam is lost due to steam tracing, and how is this amount calculated?
I doubt anyone has calculated this, as the conditions in terms of manufacturing processes vary greatly. It’s probably necessary to estimate based on experience and local temperatures; in the south, even for a medium-sized factory during winter, the heat requirement is likely around 1 ton per hour

After calculating the total heat loss, the amount of steam required can be determined based on the specifications of the steam.
