Gentlemen, how are rotary vane blowers generally sealed? I am referring to a gas seal for the medium, not a skeleton oil seal to seal the lubricating oil. It’s the fan in the picture.
It certainly isn’t a mechanical seal. So what other types of seals are there? The manufacturer did provide “air filter cotton” – is this meant for sealing with a packing gland?
