Dear teachers, does the acid-resistant stone used in the nitric acid tank area of our factory meet the standards?
The acid-resistant stone seems fine, but there’s still the area beneath the stone that needs to be insulated using something acid-resistant, such as PE or similar. This is the type we have been using; it mainly comes down to the quality of the seams.
The purpose of the stone is not to prevent corrosion, nor is it possible for it to prevent seepage; rather, it serves to protect the underlying anti-corrosion layer. So it mainly depends on the anti-corrosion layer
