Public announcement regarding the EVOH polyolefin pilot project of Fuhai Dongying subsidiary 2026-03-03 15:38:57 Recently, the environmental impact assessment process for Dongying Hualian Petrochemical Factory Co., Ltd.’s pilot project aimed at producing 180 tons of high-performance polyolefin resins per year was initiated; the period for collecting opinions is 10 working days starting from March 2, 2026. The company covers an area of over 2,000 mu, with its facilities divided into a southern and a northern site, and it employs more than 1,500 people. It mainly produces more than 10 types of products, including gasoline, diesel, liquefied gas, fuel oil, wax oil, residue oil, kerosene, naphtha, asphalt, propylene, propane, petroleum coke, benzene, and aromatics. The existing projects within the plant include hydrogen production and hydroprocessing units, heavy oil distillation, delayed coking, gasoline and diesel hydroprocessing, gasoline upgrading, technological upgrades for aromatic extraction, technological upgrades for hydrogen production from methanol, sulfur recovery, catalytic cracking of heavy oil, treatment of low-quality oils, technological upgrades for the comprehensive utilization of mixed tetrahydrocarbons along with related facilities, high-efficiency coal powder boilers and their supporting systems, comprehensive utilization of waste gases and acids, technological upgrade projects for improving gasoline quality, projects to enhance the quality of products produced by hydroprocessing units, and a project for producing 7,000 tons per year of special engineering plastics. The process used in this pilot project was jointly developed by Fuhai (Dongying) Technical Services Co., Ltd. and Dongying Hualian Petrochemical Factory Co., Ltd.; Dongying Hualian Petrochemical Factory Co., Ltd. was responsible for the construction and operation of the pilot test, with both parties working together to carry out it out. The construction will take place within the existing factory site, with a total project area of approximately 3,000 square meters ； This project will add 18 new employees, including 15 production workers and 3 management staff. There will be 5 employees per shift, with two shifts operating simultaneously; each shift lasts 8 hours, and the project operates for 300 days per year, resulting in a maximum annual working time of 7,200 hours.
