Moreover, the font of the greater than or equal to sign is automatically changed to Song typeface, which has been a persistent issue
This is because Excel treats cell contents that start with an equal sign as formulas, and in edit mode, the font of these formulas is displayed in larger size. At the same time, when you enter a greater than or equal to sign, Excel automatically converts it to the Unicode-encoded “≥” symbol. This symbol may be incompatible with the Song typeface, so Excel automatically changes it to a font that is compatible. If you want to display the original greater-than-or-equal sign while keeping the font unchanged, you can press the space bar after entering the greater-than-or-equal sign or enter another character; this way, Excel will treat it as text rather than a formula. -
