Daquan Energy’s project to produce 2 million high-purity silicon cores per year

On March 13, the environmental impact assessment report for Inner Mongolia Daquan New Energy Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 2 million high-purity silicon cores per year was accepted by the relevant authority. According to the environmental impact assessment report, this project is one of the sub-projects under Inner Mongolia Daquan New Energy Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 100,000 tons of high-purity silicon-based materials and 1,000 tons of semiconductor silicon-based materials per year. It is located on the land reserved for the first phase of the aforementioned main project. The total investment amount is 500 million yuan; the site covers an area of 13,406.73 square meters, with a total construction area of 13,439.83 square meters. One new silicon core production workshop and an argon recovery system will be built, while all other auxiliary facilities will make use of those already existing in Daquan’s first-phase project.
