Does anyone know about Aspen simulation for solid melting? I used a Gibbs reactor for simulation to achieve solid melting, but the thermal load on the module was very high, and it did not match the heat calculated using the heat transfer rate equation. Does anyone know why?
The high heat load during solid melting simulated by Aspen may be due to inaccurate model settings or unreasonable heat transfer parameters. Please check whether the material property data, reactor settings, and heat transfer coefficients in the simulation are accurate, and also confirm that all relevant heat losses and gains have been taken into account.
