Dear sea friends, I would like to ask whether the side with scratches on the glass of the foam generator should be installed facing inside the tank or facing outside? Where is the regulation?
According to the product instruction manual for foam fire extinguishing systems, when sealing the glass, the side of the glass that has scratches should face the foam outlet
If the glass on the foam generator has scratches, it is generally recommended to install it with the scratched side facing outside the tank. There are currently no specific regulations specifying the installation direction; the main consideration is that light can pass through the undamaged side to allow for a clearer view of the interior.
