The launch ceremony took place at Sinopec Synthetic Oil Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. The Jungar Economic Development Zone, industry leaders and experts, as well as the heads of the project units attended the ceremony. During the ceremony, the relevant officials introduced the project details and the status of the pilot-scale calibration, announcing that the calibration had been successful. In recent years, Zhungeer Banner has consistently regarded technological innovation as the key driver for promoting high-quality economic development. It has increased its investment in research and development in this area; to date, it has established 1 key laboratory at the ** level, 1 engineering research center, 3 post-doctoral research stations, 24 laboratories and engineering research centers at the autonomous region level, as well as 17 high-tech enterprises at the ** level. A total of 572 management and highly skilled professionals have been brought in, 765 technical patents have been granted, and 201 scientific and technological achievements have been put into practical use. The pilot-scale test of the key technologies for green aviation fuel developed by Zhongke Synthetic Oil Company was a success; the first demonstration facility was established, qualified SAF aviation fuel products were produced, and the foundation for technology transfer and industrial application was laid. In the future, Zhungeer Banner will continue to increase its investment in research and development, accelerate the construction of the Zhungeer R&D Center for the clean and efficient use of coal, provide high-quality R&D platforms for enterprises, help turn more research results into economic benefits, and lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of Zhungeer Banner. It is reported that the success of this pilot-scale test on the key technology for green aviation fuel – hydrogenation isomerization on a ten-thousand-ton scale – marks the first time that the internationally leading Sinochem synthetic oil technology has been applied in the field of biomass conversion. By integrating biomass gasification, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, and oil processing technologies, it has enabled the creation of a complete technical chain for producing high-quality green aviation fuel for the first time in the world, laying a solid technical foundation for further advancing the industrialization of green aviation fuel both domestically and internationally.
