Project description: By making use of the vacant land in the western part of the existing factory site, one set of octanol production equipment, one set of PSA gas generation equipment (the PSA unit in the existing ammonia synthesis plant will be converted to a backup unit), along with related supporting facilities, will be installed, thereby enabling an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons of octanol and 50,000 tons of isobutyraldehyde. At the same time, the existing methanol plants will be shut down (with the shift and acid removal units continuing to operate to supply syngas to the new octanol plant in this project); the methanol required for the production of polyoxymethylene and acetic acid will be obtained through external purchases. Upon completion of the project, except for the suspension of methanol production, the production capacity of all other products in the existing plant will remain unchanged. Environmental protection investments amounted to 78 million yuan, accounting for 6.5% of the total investment. These funds were primarily used for pollution control during the construction phase, as well as for measures such as exhaust gas collection, wastewater treatment, noise pollution control, collection and temporary storage of solid waste, and environmental risk mitigation during the operation phase.
