Are the raised-face flanges used at the flange connections of steel-lined PTFE towers prone to leakage? Is there a better way to seal it? Can flange sealing surfaces be replaced with male-female surfaces or other more reliable sealing surfaces?
Add a gasket; it seems there’s no other way to seal it
Add cushion gaskets; also check whether the cause of the leakage is corrosion or a poor seal
