This project utilizes the carbon dioxide conversion to syngas technology jointly developed by Five Rings Company and its partner enterprises, which enables the efficient use of carbon dioxide at the raw material stage. Methane and carbon dioxide in natural gas are subjected to dry reforming to produce syngas, which is then used in industries such as methanol, acetic acid, ethylene glycol, ethanol, and various new chemical materials. This approach helps to extend the product chain, achieve carbon emission reduction and effective carbon sequestration, and provides an effective solution for the green conversion and efficient utilization of carbon-rich natural gas in the South China Sea. Once the project is completed and successful in trials, development of industrial-scale demonstration units will proceed, thereby facilitating a cleaner and lower-carbon exploitation and large-scale utilization of high-carbon natural gas resources – which is of great significance for achieving the \"dual carbon\" goals. Next, Wuhuan Company will fully implement China Chemical’s \"135\" development strategy. Focusing on the objectives set out in the labor competition theme of \"Working Hard in the Fourth Quarter to Embark on a New Journey,\" it will organize construction activities in a scientific manner and optimize resource allocation, striving to accelerate the construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of projects. This will contribute to the innovative development of industry in Hainan, as well as to advancing technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and the sustainable development of the energy sector in China.
