Recently, the “semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet phosphoric acid production technology,” independently developed by China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Chemical Corporation, was successfully included in the **“First List of Advanced and Applicable Technologies” published by the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The company’s “semi-hydrate–dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid production technology” is primarily applied in the production of wet-process phosphoric acid for use in phosphate fertilizers, feed-grade phosphates, and fine phosphates. After more than a decade of technological advancements, it has effectively improved the utilization efficiency of low- and medium-grade phosphate ores. It features low carbon emissions and energy consumption, high phosphorus recovery rates, as well as high-quality products and by-product gypsum. It not only facilitates the development and application of fine phosphates in the downstream industries related to wet-process phosphoric acid but also promotes the harmless treatment of phosphogypsum and the full utilization of its resources, holding great potential for widespread adoption. To date, the \"semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet phosphoric acid production technology\" has been used to build 12 wet phosphoric acid production plants of various scales both domestically and internationally, with a total annual production capacity of 2.8 million tons. It is of great significance for promoting structural reforms and transformation and upgrading in the phosphorus chemical industry; it fills the gap in the large-scale development of semi-hydrated and dihydrated wet phosphoric acid production facilities in China, thereby **saving a significant amount of foreign exchange. Among them, the 380,000-ton/year wet phosphoric acid plant of Yidu Xingfa Chemical Co., Ltd., which was built using this technology and is the largest of its kind in the world, won the \"**Quality Project Award\". The successful selection of this \"semi-hydrate–dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid production technology\" is an acknowledgment of the company’s technical expertise and innovative achievements in the phosphate chemicals sector over the years.
