The gasoline hydrogenation unit is an important secondary processing device in refineries, primarily used to reduce the levels of impurities such as sulfur, olefins, and aromatics in gasoline, thereby producing cleaner gasoline products. The process flow includes raw material pretreatment, hydrogenation reaction, product separation, and catalyst regeneration, among other steps. The core equipment is a fixed-bed hydrogenation reactor; under the action of a catalyst, hydrogen reacts with sulfides and olefins present in gasoline, converting sulfur into hydrogen sulfide, saturating olefins into alkanes, and partially hydrogenating aromatics. The unit typically employs one or two hydrogenation stages, with the operating conditions selected based on the properties of the feedstock and the requirements of the product.
