**The first professional academic journal of the Energy Group’s Coal Direct Liquefaction **Engineering Research Center, titled \"Explorations in Advanced Coal Chemical Engineering,\" was officially launched in 2026. This marks a new breakthrough for the center in terms of building an academic brand, carrying out operational activities on a practical level, and fostering industry-wide exchanges and cooperation. The journal \"Exploration of New-Type Coal Chemical Engineering\" focuses on the technological frontiers, research directions, industrial policy trends, and practical experiences in the field of coal-based oil and chemical production. It aims to fully demonstrate the research capabilities and academic influence of engineering research centers, providing a high-quality platform for exchange for researchers and industry professionals in this sector. Aiming at the core objectives of transforming scientific research results, building academic brands, and promoting coordinated industrial development, the journal features special sections such as Center Introduction, Expert Profiles, Policy Insights, Research Explorations, and Collaborative Innovation.
