In 2026, the 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" will focus on the importance of safety for everyone and the need for everyone to know how to respond in emergency situations, as well as on identifying and addressing potential risks and hazards. On June 25th, information regarding the commissioning of a technical upgrade project at Changshu Sanaifu Zhonghao Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd., which involves an annual production capacity of 6,000 tons of fluororesins for coatings, 1,000 tons of octafluorocyclobutane, 1,000 tons of tetrafluoroethyl trifluoroethyl ether, 500 tons of tetrafluoroethyl tetrafluoropropyl ether, as well as 155 tons of hydrofluoric acid as by-product, was made public on relevant websites. It is understood that the project is located at No. 10 Xingyu Road, Jiangsu Changshu New Materials Industrial Park, with a total investment of 140 million yuan. The construction of the project was completed in January 2026, and it is planned to enter the commissioning phase on June 26, 2026. The commissioning period is expected to last 3 months, with a maximum duration of 12 months. The main technical renovation items are as follows: (1) Demolish the decommissioned pentafluoroethane production facilities and difluoromethane production facilities (only the equipment is involved). (2) Demolish the unused factories on the east side of the plant site, and construct new production workshops for fluororesin used in coatings, auxiliary buildings, production support facilities, equipment areas, and related supporting infrastructure. (3) The original production capacities of 4,000 t/a of hexafluoropropene and 300 t/a of octafluorocyclobutane were adjusted to 3,300 t/a of hexafluoropropene and 1,000 t/a of octafluorocyclobutane. (4) Additional production equipment will be installed in the space reserved for the existing 4,000 t/a hexafluoropropylene production facility on site, and the equipment area on the north side of the workshop will be partially rebuilt to accommodate 4 additional storage tanks, thereby enabling annual production of 1,000 tons of tetrafluoroethyl trifluoroethyl ether and 500 tons of tetrafluoroethyl tetrafluoropropyl ether, as well as meeting the needs for product storage. At the same time, a new product filling line and 1 raw material storage tank were added.
