We can break the vacuum using an inert gas. Using air can cause an explosion; nowadays, companies generally use N2. Only small rural workshops use air to create a vacuum.

Check the building codes; there are requirements regarding rest rooms here. For example, where it can be set up and where it cannot. I don’t know what relation there is between whether windows are installed or not and safety. I don’t think it’s safe to have no windows – there’s a risk of explosions, and rest areas aren’t allowed in places where toxic substances are used. It is recommended to take another look at the building codes.

Someone mentioned earlier that restrooms shouldn’t have windows, and their doors should be explosion-proof doors; however, building codes do not require this. Building codes only require that when a lounge is built adjacent to Class A and B factories, it be separated by an explosion-proof wall and equipped with a separate safety exit. It is not required that the doors of emergency exits be explosion-proof doors. Exports can be configured, and of course windows can also be set up. An explosion-proof wall is required for the area separated from the production zone; such a requirement does not apply to the other parts of the lounge.

What is the concept of a lounge? Do we still need to rest at noon? Even temporary operation rooms aren’t allowed in explosion-proof areas – how can you expect to rest? If a room is used as a lounge, there are certainly requirements regarding fire and explosion prevention. It’s okay to have windows; our operation rooms on site all have doors and windows. However, any part that contains glass needs to be protected, for example by applying a film to prevent accidents. Moreover, the orientation of doors and windows also matters. I’m not sure which regulations dictate this, but I’ve noticed that the doors and windows are always positioned so as to face away from or to the side of the production equipment.
