Fault in the dual-color water level gauge of the steam drum

The drum mica sheets have cracked; the unit has been in use for 10 years (the main steam parameters of the waste heat boiler are 4.0 MPa and 400°C). How do people usually maintain dual-color water level gauges? How often should mica sheets be replaced?
Its lifespan is limited; when it breaks, just replace it – it’s cheap
Why not ask the manufacturer about the service life?
It’s already good if it can last 10 years; it operates in high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. . . . .
It’s too dangerous; change it to a plate type as soon as possible
For something this cheap, it’s fine to replace it every three years
4MPA pressure is already considered quite high. . . .
It is safer to use glass plates under high temperature and pressure conditions
