BASF high-pressure K-type thermocouple, dual wires – can I choose either of the two wiring sets? What causes the difference in resistance between the two sets of connections?
Since it’s a pair, why choose just one set? What was the original purpose of designing two branches? Does the resistance between the two sets of connections refer to insulation resistance? General insulation is related to the thickness or density of the insulator; of course, purity is also important, and the purity of a batch of products is usually the same.
You can choose any set; theoretically, there should be no difference in the resistance values. Check in practice whether the temperatures measured are the same. The purpose of having two units is that if one of them fails, it’s not necessary to remove it for replacement – you can simply connect it to the other one
