I have a High Precision mass flow meter available, model number: 1700I 11ABFMZZZ; the sensor model is 737845. I want to use this flow meter to measure air flow, with a range of 0.5 kg/h to 150 kg/h. I’m wondering whether it’s possible to achieve an accuracy level of 0.5% during measurement Dear experts, please give me your guidance.
As long as the diameter of the pipe is measured and matched, it’s fine
@Dennyshen2549, do you mean that as long as it can be properly fitted to the pipeline, it is possible to measure an air flow rate of 0.5 kg/h while maintaining an accuracy of 0.5%? There is another question: are there any limits on the ratio of measurement range for this mass flow meter, such as 100:1, 20:1, etc.? It can still be reduced by any multiple; for example, can the range be reduced to around 1.5 kg/h? Thank you!
@1111111 For values on the order of 0.5 kg/h (under normal temperature and pressure conditions), could you recommend one or two suitable products?
The accuracy can be guaranteed at 0.5, but for very low flow rates, it will definitely no longer be within this accuracy range

In the selection of any flow meter, the pipe diameter plays a role. If you use a large-diameter flow meter to measure a small flow rate, will the measurements be accurate? Well, it seems that the range of this flow meter is a bit too small
High-precision meters cannot measure 0.5 kg/h; even when set to 5 kg/h, no mass flow meter can achieve an accuracy of 0.5, and accuracy of 1 is likely unattainable as well.
