According to HG/T20606-2009, for metal pipe flanges with non-metallic gaskets, PTFE gaskets do not have a high pressure resistance. This standard should differ from that applicable to gaskets used in ordinary pressure gauges; if there is a pressure of 25 MPa, can PTFE be used for the gasket in such a pressure gauge? Are there any standards or calculations that can explain this? Thank you.
HG/T20606-2009 applies to flange gaskets; if the pressure gauge has a flange connection, this standard must be followed. If it has a threaded connection, this standard is no longer applicable, and 250 kilograms of pressure is definitely not acceptable as it is unsafe.
