31% HCL, storage tank made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, height 9 meters, at atmospheric pressure. Currently, PP magnetic flap switches are used in conjunction with reed relay remote transmitters. However, over time, the gauge cylinder deforms, and cracks may appear at the flange of the gauge due to pressure. We are now planning to use single-flange differential pressure transmitters. Do any of you have any better suggestions? There is no mounting port on the top of the device.
An open single-flange type will do; it’s simple and inexpensive
What to do with the openings in fiberglass-reinforced plastic? Either use an immersive one, or else a radar
It’s too easy to open fiberglass products; there’s no need to explain much about that, right? We have modified it to use a PTFE float, a PTFE rope, and a PP bracket for the connection, along with magnetic flip plates. It’s good right now.
Single flange, with a fluorinated lining on the liquid-contacting surface; however, a double flange is preferable
There are no openings on the fiberglass roof, and I personally think that a single-flange approach would be the ideal method for measurement.

You could try an external-mounted level gauge; I’m not sure if there’s a space at the bottom for a probe to be installed!
Fiberglass storage tanks are not suitable for external level gauges.
For atmospheric pressure tanks, those with a single flange and PTFE-lined membranes will suffice.
