When measuring hydrogen-based media, is it necessary to use a pressure gauge specifically designed for hydrogen? For transmitters, we usually opt for those with gold-plated diaphragms. Is it also essential to install a hydrogen-specific pressure gauge at the site? It seems like the design institute didn’t require it either.
In terms of selection, a dedicated type should be chosen, but in practice I just use ordinary stainless steel, and that works fine too.

The old chemical engineering design specifications used to require dedicated hydrogen pressure gauges. However, the current version of HG/T20507-2014 has removed this requirement.
